After a long hiatus since their last match in April 2024, Grove Ladies 3s made it onto the pitch against league leaders St Andrews Uni 4. A young team with 9 players aged 14 and under were competitive for most of the match, pegging St Andrews back to 0-0 for them middle 50 minutes. Unfortunately early first quarter and last quarter goals flattered St Andrews with a 5-0 win. Grove created many chances but couldn't quite put them away. A great learning experience for many of the youngsters with Linda Anderson providing inspiration from midfield, and Charlotte Rome enjoying a rare outing up front. There were many fine performances from the spirited and determined young team with their next match away to Perthshire on Saturday 5 April.
