This was a game we all wanted to win and secure the 3 points. The players did not disappoint. We went 1-0 up through a PC in the first quarter. Great injection from Anna then stick stop from Ali followed by straight strike from Pat. We let Perthshire back in to match but another PC in the 3rd quarter with same personnel put us 2-1 up. That was 2 goals from 3 corners.

Perthshire scored quickly so it was 2-2 going into last quarter. PC no4 allowed Sophie B to get on the scoresheet with a deflection from a Pat strike. There was great determination from every player to hang on to the win and we did manage to get another PC which resulted in a save from a straight strike. The stats on the PCs was positive with us winning 5 and scoring 3.

A much improved team performance with Ali McCulloch having a fantastic match both in defence and attack. She was named as our player of the match at the end of the game.
