Internationals

Over many years the combined forces of “Bonagrass Grove” and “Menzieshill” have been reputable figures in domestic as well as international hockey. As a Scottish hockey club, one might think there would only be Scottish international representatives, but it is quite the contrary. International players from around the globe, including Ireland, America and Australia, have donned the famous strips!

The links below feature names such as current internationalists Linda Clement (100+ caps as Scottish ladies captain) and Gav Byers and past individuals such as Paul Golden and Nikki Kleppang.

The extensive list also features those honoured by Team GB, Pauline Stott, captain at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, and bronze medallists from 1992 Barcelona, Alison Ramsay and Sue Fraser.

There is no shortage of inspiration for the club’s eager youths to aspire to. This is only the beginning of the legacy, help us to maintain it.
